Keeping Christ Center...

With all the hustle and bustle that the Christmas season brings it’s easy to get caught up in it. You have commercials filling your senses with the “must have” buys of the season. And then it seems that every year we are hearing more and more how some would like to get rid of Christmas all together. We are surrounded by every distraction that would seem to take our mind and hearts off of the real reason for this holiday season….Jesus!

Keeping Christ center during the Christmas season is critical to the Christian family. Knowing the Gospel account of the Christmas story, who Jesus is and what He did for us while he was on this Earth is so important. What we teach our children now will ring loudly when they are adults. I pray that they will always keep Jesus their main focus at Christmas. Remember, it’s not about the presents under the tree but the baby in the manger. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! ~ Sharlyn Eddy
